act locally

in my ideal world, there would be a farm on every corner.  i grew up close to a farm that offered the sweetest, crispiest silver queen corn i have ever eaten.  hell, my family grew tomatoes, lettuce, squash, and raised chickens in our own back yard. 

my afternoon at the hollywood farmer's market reminded me of the importance of supporting our local farms.
