sarah

this is sarah.  sarah is many things that i admire and aspire to.  she is fiercely intelligent, relentlessly witty, quick with ringing laughter, and a total bombshell.  while sarah was in town on rude mechs business, i got to shoot her fantastic face and baby belly.  

as i was working on these images, i kept thinking about pictures of pregnant moms from the 70's.  about how it feels to hold an old picture in your hand - a picture that has been touched by many loving hands over many years - held by your own mother when the picture was new.  when you were new.  i wanted to capture all of sarah's beauty in these images so that her little girl could marvel at the wonder that is her mother.  so that she can hold close the image of the woman she admires and aspires to be.
